We provide our customers with equipment that uses as little energy as possible (e.g. a camping stove that can quickly and energy-efficiently heat water for cooking). The range of products is designed to be durable and repairable.
Some of the products are made in Rautavaara, in the surrounding areas or elsewhere in the country. For example, the cutting boards in the accessories box are made in Rautavaara by Sattuma Verstas.
We have also deliberately chosen products made from recycled materials (e.g. Marmot sleeping bags made from recycled fibre). We try to favour suppliers that are from responsible operators (e.g. Tentisile, which plants 20 trees for every shelter purchased).
