The customer agrees to comply with these, as well as merchant-specific terms when purchasing products and services from Vaarojen Majat online services.


Terms and Conditions

  • The prices presented on the website include value added tax.

  • We apply dynamic pricing for accommodation facilities. Prices vary depending on the time period and fluctuate monthly, weekly, and daily.

  • We sell products to adult individuals and business customers.

  • We reserve the right to change prices.

  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.

  • We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. The customer must familiarize themselves with the current delivery terms before placing an order.

Booking Terms

These terms apply to the rental and reservation of products and services. Collectively, these are referred to as "the subject".


  • The customer is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the description and instructions of the booking destination(s) as well as the terms related to the booking.

  • The customer's booking becomes binding when the order/payment confirmation is sent to the email address provided by the customer.

  • The customer pays for the booking according to the chosen payment method, adhering to the terms of the chosen payment method.

  • The booking system sends the order/payment confirmation to the email address provided by the customer.

  • The merchant is not responsible for failed bookings; in such cases, the customer must promptly contact the merchant to rectify the situation.

  • The merchant does not guarantee that the destination is still available at the time of booking.

  • If the destination is unavailable, the funds will be refunded, or an alternative date will be offered as available.

Cancellation Policy

  • The cancellation date is the day Vaarojen Majat receives notice of the cancellation.

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation is sent in a timely manner. See general cancellation terms.

  • If the customer cancels their reservation,

    • If the reservation is cancelled:

    • Less than 7 days before the start of the reservation, the full rental price will be charged.

    • Less than 30 days but at least 7 days before the start of the reservation, 50% of the rental price will be charged.

    • 30 days or more before the start of the reservation, cancellation fees will apply. The cancellation fee is €25 (including VAT)

  • The reservation can be transferred upon the customer's request under the following conditions:

    • The transfer can only be made once.

    • The transfer must occur at least 14 days before the start of the original reservation.

    • If the transferred reservation is cancelled, the full rental price will always be charged regardless of the cancellation date.

The merchant reserves the right to cancel the reservation in the following cases:

  • In the event of force majeure, Vaarojen Majat may terminate the rental agreement. Notice of termination shall be given without delay to the customer who has rented the property.

  • In such a case, the customer is entitled to receive a full refund of the rent paid

  • Any expenses incurred by the customer as a result of the termination of the rental agreement due to force majeure will not be reimbursed.

Usage of the Property

  • The property is defined in the property description.

  • The guest has the right to use the property and its equipment during the rental period, as well as any separately defined services.

  • If the guest notices any deficiencies or other issues with the property, they must promptly notify the property management.

  • The guest is responsible for keeping the property clean and disposing of waste during and at the end of the rental period.

  • The guest is responsible for the final cleaning of the property at the end of the reservation.

  • If the guest has left the property uncleaned, Vaarojen Majat will invoice the full costs incurred for cleaning the property. Cleaning work is billed at 40 euros per hour, travel expenses at 0.40 euros per kilometer, and travel time is included in working hours.

  • The property is available to the guest during the time specified in the property description.

  • Pets

    • Pets are not allowed inside the accommodation.

    • The guest is fully responsible and liable for any damages caused by their pets.

  • Special Terms and Conditions for Rental Equipment:

    • Customer Responsibilities:

      • The customer must familiarize themselves with the safety and usage instructions for the equipment. Equipment should be used carefully and only for its intended normal use. The lessee agrees to perform a safety inspection during the rental period. Rental equipment must not be taken out of the country or sublet. Rental equipment may only be used to the extent permitted by the terms and only in locations suitable for the user's skill level and competence. The customer uses all equipment and accessories at their own risk.

      • The customer must return the equipment immediately at the end of the rental period to the agreed-upon location, cleaned and in the same condition as when it was rented out. The lessee must promptly notify the lessor if the return is delayed. The lessor has the right to charge 50% increased rent for the excess period unless otherwise agreed.

      • The customer is responsible for compensating for any damage and costs caused by careless or improper handling and inadequate maintenance of the rental equipment during the rental period. The customer is obligated to compensate for any equipment destroyed or lost during the rental period at its replacement value. The customer is responsible for compliance with transportation, safety, and other regulations. The customer must immediately notify the lessor of any defects in the equipment.

      • The lessor is responsible for repair measures due to normal wear and tear of the equipment. The lessor is not liable for indirect or direct costs or damages to the lessee resulting from the use or breakdown of the rental equipment. The lessor is not obligated to provide a new device in place of a damaged rental item or to compensate for indirect or direct costs resulting from work interruption.

Compensation for Damages:

  • The customer is obligated to compensate Vaarojen Majat for any damage caused to the property. The customer is also responsible for any damage caused by other individuals visiting the property during the rental period. For example, the replacement cost of a Tentsile tent is 700€, and the replacement cost of a sleeping bag is 200€.

  • Vaarojen Majat will not compensate customers for inconveniences or costs resulting from natural conditions, such as insects, animals, road conditions, or unexpected weather changes.


  • Any complaints must be made as soon as the issue arises.

  • If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached or if there is a claim for compensation, the complaint must be submitted in writing within one month of the end of the rental period.

  • Vaarojen Majat endeavors to process complaints as quickly as possible, but no later than one month from the date of submission.

  • If the customer and Vaarojen Majat cannot reach an agreement, the customer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Complaints Board for resolution.Terms of Delivery

Formation of the Contract

  • The binding contract for the purchase comes into effect once the order has been confirmed (order confirmation/payment confirmation).

  • The order confirmation/payment confirmation will be sent to the customer via email.

Cancellation and Return Policy

  • Products have a 14-day return policy in accordance with consumer protection law.

  • The right of return is valid only if the product is in its original condition.

  • The product packaging must also be in a saleable condition.

  • Please contact sales for detailed return instructions.

  • The right of return does not apply to engraved or other personalized products, accommodation services, restaurant services, or other leisure services agreed upon for a specific period.

  • The customer is responsible for the usual costs of returning the product.

Product Warranty

  • We adhere to the warranty terms defined by the manufacturer or importer.


  • Delivery costs include postage and packaging fees. You can view the delivery costs after selecting the payment and delivery method in your shopping cart.

Payment Terms

Vaarojen Majat employs reliable and secure payment intermediaries for its services.

  • Vaarojen Majat does not store banking or credit card information at any stage.
    The customer commits to adhere to the terms and conditions of the chosen payment method.

  • Payment by Invoice

    The invoice must be paid by the due date specified on the invoice.

    Late payment fees will be applied to invoices paid after the due date. If the invoice is paid after the due date indicated on the original invoice and late fees have already been incurred, these fees will be billed separately.

    If the payment transaction is not successfully completed at the time of ordering, Vaarojen Majat will not process the order.
