A natural and stunning destination, in the village of Jyrkä in Sonkajärvi, North Savo. An area where you can still enjoy all four seasons and there is something to do for each of them. Grassy plot with a good view of Kiltua lake. Good opportunities for hiking, canoeing, rafting, fishing, berry picking and hunting. Charming and historic Jyrkän Ruukki area 300 m away, with restaurant, café, museum and summer theatre during the summer (1.5-30.9). The owner offers additional services such as hunting, fishing, hiking and camping guides and equipment hire.

From the cottage you can set off on a well-marked hiking trail, paddle to the lake or even go rafting. Around the cottage there are several fireplaces where you can spend an evening enjoying the pure nature and the beautiful scenery. You can stay with us for one night or for the whole holiday.

Our cottages are also ideal for high-quality meetings and training events. A fibre-optic connection ensures that even remote connections work flawlessly. The surrounding nature offers a great opportunity to add a refreshing acid trip to your day. Ruukin Tupa is a full-service meeting and training venue where you will receive personalised service.

We offer catering and meeting services all year round.
