A natural and stunning destination in the village of Jyrkä in Sonkajärvi, North Savo. An area where you can still enjoy all four seasons and there is something to do for each of them. The picturesque and historic Jyrkän Ruukki area 500 m away, with a restaurant, café, museum and summer theatre during the summer (1.5-30.9). The owner offers additional services such as hunting, fishing, hiking and camping guides and equipment hire. In addition, a paly cart can be hired.
From the cottage you can set off on a well-marked hiking trail, paddle to the lake or even go rafting. Around the cottage there are several fireplaces where you can spend an evening enjoying the pure nature and the beautiful scenery. You can stay with us for one night or for the whole holiday.
Coal and Miilu cottages are also ideal for high-quality meetings and training events. A fibre-optic connection ensures that even remote connections work flawlessly. Our Coal and Miilu cabins are identical in floor plan, furnishings and equipment. Only the colours of the surfaces and fabrics differ.
