Metsäkartano is located next to the Tiilikkajärvi National Park, and only an hour and a half by car from Kuopio.
Our Tentsile guests have access to the facilities of Metsäkartano campsite. Guests have the possibility to cook in the campsite kitchen (incl. stove, cooker, fridge, coffee maker, etc.) and use the toilets and showers.
The main building of the Youth Centre Metsäkartano has a reception and a restaurant. There are a number of different accommodation options available on the site, as well as sauna hire. It is possible to rent a canoe, sup-board or bicycle from Metsäkartano.
Metsäkartano Youth Centre is one of the nine youth centres in Finland. Metsäkartano operates in harmony with nature and the seasons, and there is something to do all year round. Metsäkartano has the Green Key certificate, the Social Enterprise label and the Sustainable Travel Finland label.
